Prohibitionsgesetze, wie sie in den skandinavischen L\u00e4ndern, den USA oder in Russland in den 1920er Jahren erlassen wurden, f\u00fchrten kaum zu Erfolgen. Auch im Burgenland setzte man sich zu jener Zeit mit dem \u00fcberm\u00e4\u00dfigen Konsum von Alkohol und den wirtschaftlichen, sozialen und gesundheitlichen Sch\u00e4den auseinander. Zwar wurden keine Gesetze gegen den Alkoholverbrauch verordnet, doch versuchte man mit einer Antialkoholpropaganda dieses Problem zu lindern.
