Der Gesundheitszustand des Rabbiners wurde 1926 auf Grund seines hohen Alters zunehmend besorgniserregender, sodass der Rabbiner zur Verbesserung seines Gesundheitszustandes in Karlsbad kurte und die Kultusgemeinde die Kosten \u00fcbernahm. Sein Zustand verschlechterte sich jedoch weiter und die Gemeinde bereitete die Nachfolge vor. Soll von drei anerkannten Rabbinern unterst\u00fctzt werden, ein guter Kanzleiredner sein und diese Stelle ist verbunden mit der Verheiratung der Enkelin unseres Oberrabbiners, die ein junges und h\u00fcbsches M\u00e4dchen ist.\u201c<br \/>\nOb damals ein Kandidat bzw. Br\u00e4utigam gefunden werden konnte, ist nicht bekannt, doch 1937 musste eine Rabbinerwahl durchgef\u00fchrt werden, weil der Oberrabbiner schwer erkrankte. Isidor Karoly aus Kosice\/Slowakei wurde dabei einstimmig zum Rabbiner gew\u00e4hlt.<br \/>\n(Herbert Brettl. Die j\u00fcdische Gemeinde von Frauenkirchen.
